Stay motivated with every task!

Say goodbye to procrastination, Rockket is the task manager that keeps you on track and rewards you for your hard work.

Why should I use Rockket?

If you feel like stuff just requires you to get it done or you struggle with motivating yourself to overcome the barrier, Rockket is for you. Levering gamified elements, our task manager helps you stay motivated.

Though task managers can often get complex and overwhelming, making it difficult to see through the mess. Productivity tools should provide their users with all features they could think of, but shouldn't get in the way when they don’t need them. A task manager should be opinionated, but flexible enough to not let the users feel like they are fighting against the tool.

Rockket attempts to solve these problems. Whether you’re a busy professional, a student juggling classes and extracurriculars, or anyone looking to get done more in less time, Rockket has everything you need to stay on track.

Key features

At Rockket, we know that productivity is about more than just ticking checkboxes. That’s why we’ve built a task manager that provides you with a rich feature set, but lets you decide how to use it.

Here is a rundown of some of the core features that make Rockket so effective.

Progressbar

77 %

The progress bar provides a quick and easy way to see how far along you are in your work and how much remains to be done. Track individual tasks or subtasks, as well as the overall progress of a project. As you complete tasks, the progress bar will fill up, giving you a sense of accomplishment and motivation to keep going.

Status

Track the progress of your tasks to stay on top of your workload. You can easily see which tasks are still outstanding, which are in progress, and which have been closed.

Assign a status of "Backlog" to declare that the task is not yet ready to be worked on or can sit there for a while.

  • This thing is currently in the making
  • This thing is being reviewed
  • A thing that's ready to be worked on
  • A thing that is pushed to later points in time
  • A thing that is done
  • A thing that turned out to be unwanted
  • Priority

Rockket's priority feature allows you to assign a level of importance to each task, so you can focus on what's most critical.

With priority levels ranging from optional to urgent, you can easily identify which tasks need your immediate attention and which can wait.

  • This needs to be done yesterday
  • Do that really important thing
  • Do that somewhat important thing
  • No priority assigned
  • This thing got deprioritized
  • This thing can wait until everything is else is done
  • Description

Add detailed information and notes to further outline the task, document research, draft ideas, and much more.

With this feature, you can provide additional context and instructions for each task, making it easier to understand what needs to be done and how to do it.

  • Develop a social media campaign

    End goal

    • Raise awareness of the new product

    • Generate interest and engagement

    Outline

  • Labels

Assign labels to your tasks to help you organize and filter your tasks by category. It's especially useful if you have a lot of tasks and want to group them together by topic or project.

This feature will arrive over the course of the next few months.

    Task nesting

Nesting is a powerful feature in Rockket that allows you to break down complex tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks of work. With nesting, you can create a hierarchy of tasks that helps you stay focused on whats next.

By breaking down your tasks in this way, you can stay focused on the specific steps you need to take to complete your project, and feel a sense of accomplishment as you check off each subtask.

This can help you avoid feeling overwhelmed by a large to-do list, and instead focus on making steady progress.

  • Plan birthday party for sarah

    • birthday banner

  • History

See what happend when, and who did it. View the life cycle of your tasks, from creation to completion.

This feature will arrive over the course of the next few months.

    Dependencies

Create dependencies between tasks to indicate that one task is a prerequisite for another.

This is useful for tasks that require input from other tasks, but aren't exactly expressible as subtasks of one another.

This feature will arrive over the course of the next few months.

How we recommend to use rockket

Rockket is designed to reward you when you complete a task with satisfying behaviour and gamified elements to create a positive feedback loop and increase motivation. So, the more tasks you complete, the better you feel. It's therefor encouraged to break down a task into smaller sub-tasks so that you can cross of tasks more often and stay motivated.
